STOP Hunger NOW Event – Sept 28

Our 3rd annual event will be September 28th, so SAVE the DATE and plan to come party.  YOU get to serve meals to starving people. “ For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, …whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Mat 25)

Every year since 1998 Stop Hunger Now has used hands-on volunteers to provide millions of nutritious meals and other life-saving aid to children and families all over the world.  Come and be part of this success story in our mission to end hunger.  We will pack at least  TEN THOUSAND nutritious meals.  If any individuals or groups choose to donate a $5 or 10 or 20, we can pack more, up to FIFTEEN THOUSAND meals. We will be inviting some outside groups to participate, like Scouts, as we did for the first event, but we’ll have a few other mission packing jobs to do, so there will be plenty to keep everyone happy and busy.  SEE YOU THERE!

Rally Day – Donut Olympics 2016

Slide4

Rally Day is a party with purpose. The party is to get people plugged into community. So we’re going to play with our food as we get connected to Sunday School Classes this Fall. Sunday School is our version of small groups, and one of the primary tools God uses to shape us into disciples. Sunday worship and sermons are great tools for growth, but it takes intimacy, discussion, and accountability to grow significantly. If you attend on Sundays and at large group events, but are not plugged into a Sunday School class, this is the day to come act a fool, hear about classes, and get connected to a small group.
