As a multi-generational community, our diverse ages and experiences bolster our life together. We’re so thankful to have infants and elders in the same church, because it sounds a lot like the early Christian communities. Oakland hosts retirees once a month for our Senior Saints activities. These programs range from basketball games to travel presentations to cornhole tournaments. On the service we’re just having fun, but the majority of the iceberg consists of building relationships, encouraging each other, and checking up on our physical and emotional needs as the change with age.
Age is just a number and we fully intend to enjoy ever minute of it.
